I arrived at Swayambhu View Guest House after a long trek and was greeted with warm smiles and a comforting atmosphere. The Russian manager went out of his way to ensure my stay was perfect, providing helpful tips and making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with stunning views of the nearby Stupa. The communal kitchen was a bonus and allowed me to cook my own meals. The peaceful garden and rooftop were a sanctuary for relaxation. I can't recommend this place enough – a true gem for those seeking an authentic Nepalese experience. I highly recommend Swayambhu View Guest House.

Nestled among hills with beautiful views and tranquility, the location is perfect for a peaceful stay. It's not too far away from major tourist attractions. There's a convenient kitchen, and a clean and cozy room. the staff is kind and helpful, and there's filtered water available.
Although everything was functional, the bathroom could be considered small for some.

I really liked how this hotel is tucked away from the busy main road, providing a peaceful atmosphere, yet still conveniently close to the tourist area of Tamel. The view from the rooms, especially from the open roof, overlooking the Kathmandu valley was absolutely breathtaking. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, always helpful and accommodating to all my needs and questions.
No major issues, everything was great.

My experience during the New Year was not the best. The noise level was unbearable as the hotel is located near a popular celebration area.
